About the Poet

john sweet lives in the wastelands of upstate new york with his beautiful wife and two amazing young sons. He believes in writing as catharsis, and has no use for any of the schools of poetry. He has a phone that he chooses not to answer, and is waiting for spring so he can take care of the dry rot creeping around his back door. His first full-length collection, Human Cathedrals, is available from Ravenna Press, and a new chapbook, Famine, is availabale from Leaf Press.
